Battery
With the establishment and operation of battery charging stations, the corresponding statutory
provisions are complied with.
The various Rechargeable sealed Lead Acid battery (VRLA) is used in this pallet truck which needs less
maintenance.
Near the truck and the battery charger, smoking and storing of combustible or flammable material is
strictly prohibited.
The room must be well ventilated.
The weight and dimensions of the battery can affect the stability of the truck, so we recommend calling
the manufacturer to obtain the necessary consent, if other than the standard battery is to be installed.
6.1
Substituting the battery
The inspection charge and the battery replacement must be performed by authorised personnel accord-
ing to the instructions of the manufacturer.
To avoid short circuits, batteries with unprotected terminals or connectors should be covered with a rub-
ber mat.
Hooks are to be attached in such a way that they cannot fall on the battery cells when the lifting tackle is
not tensioned.
Where the battery replacement is made with a battery trolley it must be ensured that the vehicle and trol-
ley are secured against involuntary movement while the battery is being shifted.
Return the key switch to position "off".
Remove the battery from its retainers; Remove the cables from the battery terminals; Slide out the bat-
tery; Mount the battery following the above instructions in reserve order, fixing in place and connecting it
correctly.
Before assembly check the battery for correct mechanical condition.
Fix the pole terminals safely to the respective end poles + and - of the battery. This is a perma-
nent connection and shall not be used for continuous changes.
6.2
Battery disposal - disposal of waste batteries
Used batteries must be disposed of according to law!
Legal basis for the disposal of the battery on 01.12.2009 Law on the placing on the market, return and
environmentally sound disposal of batteries and accumulators. (Battery-law-BattG)

Battery indicator
Discharging status of battery is indicated on battery capacity meter with ten indicator bars for each 10%
increase. With the consumption of battery capacity, the lighting bars will descend downwards from the
top. The mark of "Alarm" will appear when residual capacity of standard battery at 30%.
Now, the battery is ready for charging.
The mark of "Alarm" and a flash "Stop" keeps flashing will appear when residual capacity of standard
battery at 20%. Now, the lifting function of truck is automatically cut off and locked.
