6.2 Transducer input (for voltage output current probes)

In order to connect voltage output current probes to the instrument, you can also
choose a mV transformater ratio in the mA position. Then the input voltage will be
multiplied by the selected ratio and displayed as a scaled Amps RMS value.
a)
Select the voltage transducer measurement function by turning the rotary
switch to the mA position. Press the
transformation ratio of a connected probe (current or voltage). The big
digits show Pro and the symbol mA next to the big display flashes.
With the
button it can be selected whether a current or a voltage
output probe will be connected to the instrument. –
toggle between mA or mV symbols. Adjust mV.
With the
key the transformation ratio selection can be entered. Now
the default ratio shown in the small display flashes. The
through the following loop of ratios: OFF 1, 10, 100, 500 or 1000.
b)
Press the
button to return to the main screen. If mV and a ratio has
been selected then the large U and the current clamp symbol are
displayed. The main display shows the scaled value in Amps.
For safety reasons, if switching out of the mA position the ratio screen
turns back to the default which is mA and a 1:1 ratio for direct current
measurement.
c)
Clamp the external probe around the single live conductor. The instrument
displays the scaled Amps RMS value and the frequency of the AC
component
d)
All other functionality like LIMIT behaves as in normal mA mode.

6.3 HOLD

HOLD immediately freezes the displayed values
To switch the HOLD function off, turn the rotary switch.
The HOLD function operates on whatever parameter is being
displayed in the upper digits block; i.e., one of AC, TRMS or DC.
It is not applicable to insulation measurements
button to view and to set the
