Basic operation

Connect the test leads to the test object and check for external voltages.

Select the resistance measuring mode by turning the rotary switch to the Ω
position.
If the external voltage is greater than 3V a warning symbol is displayed. Even
if a live voltage is present, the fuse will not be damaged.

Test lead compensation can be activated by connecting the leads together
and pressing the key. The instrument is now in a Relative measurement
mode indicated by the ZERO announciator on the display. This mode is
also valid for continuity testing. The actual value of compensation R
indicated on the small display.

and an audible alarm buzzer when measuring less than the adjusted
threshold.
