4. PROGRAMMING AND USE
This installation manual only describes the manual programming.
In the service set (10-870) installation manual, you can find additional programming options
for extra internal units, relays, internal calls on the internal units, the ring-and-come-in
function and call diversion, among others.
4.1. Programming a bell push button
1. Briefly press the bell push button to check whether the button has already been programmed:
ring tone = programmed
•
one short beep = not programmed
•
negative signal (high – low) = programmed, but internal unit not found
•
2. Press on the PROG. button to put the installation into programming mode.
The LED flashes.
3. Choose one of the following programs:
Do you want to ...
program the first
internal unit on a bell
push button?
program one internal
unit in parallel?
reset a bell push
button?
4. Briefly press the PROG. button again to leave programming mode.
The LED is illuminated again.

Action
1. Briefly press the speech key
on the internal unit.
2. Press the bell push button.
You will hear a ring tone at the
internal and the external units.
3. Press the speech key again briefly
to end the conversation.

button until you once again hear a
ring tone (± 8 sec).
3. Press the speech key again briefly
to end the conversation.
