Chapter 8– EXAMPLES OF ELECTRODE PLACEMENTS
On the following pages drawings of the electrode placements can be find. These are ex-
amples. Further placements are possible.
If 2 electrodes are placed which are controlled via one channel of the device in the partic-
ular drawing is spoken of 1. If 4 electrodes are placed which are controlled via two chan-
nels of the device in the particular drawing is spoken of 2.

8.1 Electrode placement for pain therapy

Two electrodes have to be connected to the connection cable with the help of plug con-
nections. One male connector of the connection cable has a red colour. This is the (+)
pole. The other male connector of the connection cable has a white colour. This is the (-)
pole. To achieve optimal results, the electrode which was connected to the white male
connector, should be placed near the most painful area.
