Operating Instruction
4. Start-up
EN
1) Connect the power supply to the trail-
er tester using the supplied power
pack. The DC voltage power pack plug
is to be inserted into the right-hand
side of the case (8). The power pack
is only connected to the mains socket af-
ter work has been completed.
If installed correctly, a red light diode
lights up on the power pack, while a green
one lights up in the case.
2) Now insert the trailer plug into the identi-
cally labelled plug socket. You can choose
from the following selection: 13-pin, 15-
pin and 7-pin (type S & type N sockets) &
ABS/EBS.
Ensure that only one plug is connect-
ed to the test case in each instance.
A test cannot be conducted in parallel
with two different plugs. Fire hazard!
3 ) The desired component can now be test-
ed by actuating the program selection ro-
tary switch.
Ensure the correct function of the parts to
be tested. Do not continuously test parts!

2) After establishing the connection between
the trailer and the test case, the test case
can be put into operation and the test
can be conducted by actuating the rotary
switch.
After completing the tests, disconnect
the power pack from the mains supply!

6. ABS/EBS test procedure
1) By connecting the power pack to the test
case, the ABS/EBS socket is supplied with
voltage. LED lights up (10)
2) Connect the ABS/EBS socket on the trailer
with the corresponding socket in the test
case.
3) If the control unit on the trailer/semitrailer
audibly CLICKS and the LED (if present)
on the ABS/EBS control unit lights up, the
ABS/EBS system on the trailer is being
correctly supplied with voltage. This con-
cludes the test. No further activities are
required.
