10-1-2 Handpiece Hose (for Prophy use and Perio use)
1) Remove the Hose from the Powder Handpiece and Chamber.
2) Remove the O-rings from the Handpiece Hose Plug using a needle, etc. If there
is powder in the O-ring grooves, clean the groove before inserting the new
O-ring.
3) Place the new O-rings in the grooves from where the old O-rings were removed.
4) Apply a drop of the supplied turbine oil and rub it in with your finger (Fig. 45).

• Failure to lubricate the O-ring section on the Handpiece side may cause
damage to the Joint section, resulting in difficulty in rotating the

Handpiece connection. It may also cause water leakage.
10-1-3 Nozzle (for Prophy use and Perio use)
1) Pass through the supplied Ring Wrench from the Nozzle end, loosen the Nozzle,
and remove the Nozzle from the Handpiece.
2) Remove the O-rings from the root of the Nozzle using a needle, etc. (Fig. 46). If
there is powder in the O-ring grooves, clean the groove before inserting the new
O-ring.
3) Place the new O-rings in the grooves from where the old O-rings were removed.

10-1-4 Irrigation Bottle
1) Remove the O-rings from the Irrigation Bottle Joint using a needle, etc.
2) Place the new O-rings in the grooves from where the old O-rings were removed.

• The O-rings are of different thicknesses. Be sure to place them in the
correct groove (Fig. 47).
CAUTION
10-1-5 Chamber Base Connector
1) Remove the O-rings from the Chamber Base Connector using a needle, etc.
(Fig. 48).
2) Place the new O-rings in the grooves from where the old O-rings were removed.

• Since the size of the O-Rings differ, make sure to replace them in the
correct location (Fig. 48).
CAUTION
10-1-6 Chamber Cap
1) Remove the Chamber Cap.
2) Remove the O-ring from the inside of the Chamber Cap using a needle, etc.
(Fig. 49).
3) Place the new O-ring in the groove from where the old O-ring was removed.
