INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

SWITCH ON / ACTIVATE:
Put round head of steel thermometer in black holder's lower slot (‚ON') and take it out.
Flashing light (green, yellow, red) means it is ready. The SteakChamp is now in active mode,
a LED flashes briefly every 8 sec.

Push/ insert steel thermometer sideways into steak, right in the middle.
Push it all the way in, so that just the round top sticks out. Adjust this position during
+ cooking if necessary. Always position SteakChamp in the center of the cut. Probe must be

fully heat protected by meat.

Cook and flip the steak like usual
and watch the round steel head to see when it starts flashing.

If you want medium rare, remove steak from heat when its light starts flashing green.
For medium wait for yellow light. For medium-well, wait for red light. Now, put your steak
on a platter or board.

Rest your steak on a platter or board until the light stops flashing.
Carry-over cooking: the ideal point of doneness is reached when the flashing signal stops.

Take the steel thermometer out of the steak using the claw end of the black holder.
Your steak is perfect. Enjoy it!
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF (ENERGY SAVING MODE)
SteakChamp switches off automatically:
H After use: approx. 5 minutes after the cooking process
H When not in use: after approx. 30 minutes without temperature increase
