ID may not exceed 3.5 mA: ID £3.5 mA
As the differential current measurement determines the
safety during operation various operating states of the test
specimen, like the progress of a program (rinse, heat, spin
in a washing machine) for instance can be checked for
deficiencies in the safety. This appliance is therefore highly
recommended after a PE check as it is not confronted with
the problem of the connection of individual functional test
specimen parts as with insulation measurement and all
parts are guaranteed to be covered by this appliance test.
With continuous measurement and maximum value
memory the ID measuring function provides a simple
possibility of monitoring appliances for excessive differen-
tial current ID during continuous mains-powered operation.
The differential current measurement with the PR1200X
offers great measuring comfort. It enables permanently
connected appliances to be checked for residual currents
ID without disconnecting.
