Special notes
1. In fast date-adjustment mode, you will need to rotate the
crown by an additional half-turn when the desired date
appears in the window. This operation ensures correct meshing
and that the date will jump at the following midnight.
2. Fast date correction is not advisable between 8 pm and 1 am.
However, if the wearer does decide to correct the date during
this period, such as at 10 pm, it will not change at midnight, but
only 24 hours later.
3. For any time-setting performed in an anti-clockwise direction
moving past midnight, the wearer must move the hands for-
wards to at least 8.30 pm ; in such a case, the date does not
return to the previous day. The watch may then be set to
10 pm, for example. If the operation is done in this way, the
date will not jump at midnight either.
4. Avoid simultaneously performing time-setting and strike-time
adjustment operations.
5. Avoid pressing several pushers at once.
Maintenance
To ensure this watch proves continues to run smoothly to its
owner's entire satisfaction, PIERRE DEROCHE recommends :
• that all handling be done in accordance with the operating
instructions ;
• that it be entrusted to the parent company (or a brand-autho-
rised watchmaker) for a complete maintenance service every
4 to 6 years.
