Using FreeMIDI on the Macintosh
Installing the UM-2 Driver
Use the following procedure to install the UM-2 driver.
* Disconnect the UM-2 from your computer before starting up
Macintosh.
* Exit all applications before you begin installing the driver.

Use the USB cable to connect the UM-2 and your
computer.

In the "UM-2 Driver E" folder
of the CD-ROM, double-click
the "UM2 FreeMIDI Driver-E
Installer" icon to start up the installer.

Click [Install].
If the dialog box that all
other currently-running
applications will be exited
appears, click [Continue].

When installation is
completed, click
[Restart] to restart your
computer.
This completes installation of the UM-2 Driver.
Next you will make FreeMIDI settings.

The UM-2 FreeMIDI
Driver included on the
disc is provided as an
additional module that
allows the UM-2 to be
used with FreeMIDI. In
order to use it, FreeMIDI
must already be
installed on the start-up
hard disk.
