the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC Directive 89/336/EEC of 3. May 1989). These products also comply with
the Low Voltage Directive (73/23/EEC of 19. February 1973).
This declaration of conformity of the European Communities is the result of an examination
carried out by the Quality Assurance Department of Tandberg Data ASA in accordance
with European Standards EN 50081-1 and 50082-1, as laid down in Article 10 of the

Directive. The SLRx Tape Backup System complies with the limits for Class B computing
device pursuant to subpart B of Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Only equipment complying with
Class B limits may be attached to this backup system.
