PREPARATIONS FOR USE
Open the lid and take out the granula basket. Put the basket aside for use later when cleaning the machine (see the chapter
"CHANGE OF WATER"). Empty the enclosed cardboard box with granula completely into the machine.
To the left in the washing compartment there is a red water level indicator with two notches (see picture 4). Fill the machine with
water, so that the granula level is within the lower notch of the indicator. Correct water level is extremely important (see the
chapter "DAILY MAINTENANCE).
During wintertime if there is a risk of freezing, the machine must be emptied of water. Otherwise the machine may be damaged by
ice bursting.
RUNNING-IN
When the machine is new, the surface of the pump and pipes will wear off, and fragments from the manufacturing of the granula
will liberate themselves. An extra change of water and rinse of the machine after 100 washes is therefore strongly recommended.
The granula should then also be rinsed while they are collected in the basket.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
MANUAL WASHING
1. Turn on the red/yellow main switch. After the automatic computer self test, "READY" will be shown on the display.
2. Open the lid if it is not already open (see item 12 chapter "THE CONTROL PANEL") and place the wheel into the machine,
the outside of the rim to the right. This side washes most efficiently as the dynamic flush pipe (see picture 5) slowly moves across
the rim during the wash cycle.
Please note that decoration covers for example plastic cocers in the center of the rim must be removed before washing the
wheel.
We strongly recommend that also the valve cap is removed from the wheel or firmly tightend before washing as a lost valve cap
may cause operational disturbances if it falls off during the wash cycle (see the chapter "TROUBLE SHOOTING").
Wheels with protruding parts on the rim, beyond the contour of the tyre, MUST be placed with the outside of the rim to the right.
Wheels where the protruding parts sticks out more than 13 mm beyond the contour of the tyre may not be washed in the
machine. The protruding parts can then be damaged.
If narrow wheels are incorrectly placed in the wash room, it can be difficult for them to rotate during the wash cycle. Place the
wheel in a way so that it stands straight and leans on the supports on the left side to minimize the risk that it will slide (and
not rotate) during the wash cycle.
A wheel with a puncture that has bees standing for so long, that it has turned flat at one point and is not round anymore can not be
washed in the machine since it will not rotate properly.
3. Close the lid. Please note that there might be a risk of squeezing injuries when the lid is closed. Always make sure that
customers and children not get close to the machine.
4. Start the machine by choosing wash programme (see item 5 chapter "THE CONTROL PANEL").
After cleaning, the wheel will continue to rotate for 15 sec, and the granula and most of the water on the wheel will be blown off
by compressed air while the dynamic flush pipe returns to its starting position. When the wheel has stopped rotating, the wash
cycle is completed, the lid opens automatically and the wheel can be taken out. It is possible to run an extra cycle with air blowing
only (see item 8 chapter "THE CONTROL PANEL").
5. Finally, always check that there are no granula left on the mounting areas or the screwbolt holes of the rim before the wheel is
fitted onto the car.
