6.2 Rigging the 12XT or 112P enclosure with the ETR12-2
6.2.1

Assembling procedure

All along the assembling procedure, strictly follow the sequence of the successive steps.
WARNING
1. Fix the ETR12-2 U-bracket to a ceiling, wall, or structure as described in the section 5.2.
Note: Wall-mounting can be performed either in the vertical or horizontal orientation.

ALWAYS position the fixed arm on the bottom when wall-mounting the U-bracket in the
vertical orientation.
WARNING
2. Open the U-bracket's pivoting arm as described
below:
a. Remove the ball locking pin from the pivoting
arm.
b. Pull on the spring-loaded safety and open
the pivoting arm.
3. Fix the 12XT or 112P enclosure to the U-bracket
as described below:
a. Insert an enclosure's pole socket into the
stud located on the U-bracket's fixed arm.
b. Rotate the pivoting arm back into position:
the spring-loaded safety should lock
automatically.
Verify that the pivoting arm is

correctly secured by checking
that it cannot move freely and
that the spring-loaded pin is fully
engaged in locking position.
