DESCRIPTION OF THE BR-AP-AP-S USER
The digital display is a system that provides alphanumeric indications for the real-time
monitoring of the machine status.
It consists of a central control unit that communicates with the machine via a cable serial
connection.
The control unit is used for configuring the values of the speed (common to all the heads)
and target meter counts (common to all the heads or separate for each individual head)
as well as providing indications such as the metres wound per head or per machine, and
the production and efficiency values per head and per machine.
The parameters may be stored in specific memory slots called 'recipes'.
It is possible to deactivate the metre-counter for the whole machine or for a single head
by setting zero metres; please refer to the relative manual for instructions.
With the key-operated switch (10 fig.12) in position 1, all parameters may be adjusted.
With the key in position 2, the parameters may only be displayed.
- On each screen, an arrow shaped cursor on the left side of the menus points to the menu
on which it is possible to operate.
- Press the cursor "right" and "left" (13 fig. 12) keys to access submenus.
- To navigate within a menu, use the cursor "up" and "down" keys (14 fig. 12).
- Press "ENTER" (15 fig. 12) to edit a parameter.
The cursor symbol changes to a curled bracket "}" and the parameter may now be ed-
ited.
Use the cursor "up" and "down" (14 fig. 12) buttons to modify the parameter.
Press "ENTER" (15 fig. 12) to confirm the new parameter or press "ESC" (16 fig. 12) to
cancel the operation.

Description of the Intelli Wind system menu for the BR-AP/AP-S

Upon machine power on, the display tests all the heads connected and the following
screen is displayed for a few moments: SELF TEST 01234——
With one module (5 heads) connected, the display confirms connection from the first head
(0) to the fifth (4) in sequence, and the test cycle continues up to the maximum number
of heads connectable, displaying "-" for absent heads.
A malfunctions or disconnected head is indicated by the symbol "-".
The total number of heads is then displayed, followed by the main screen: "MENUS"
and "SETTINGS".
To set the speed, select MENU followed by SPEED.
With the cursor on the speed menu, press "ENTER" 15 fig. 12. The cursor turns into a curled
bracket. Press the cursor "up" and "down" keys 14 fig. 12 to modify the parameter.
To confirm the changes made, press the "ENTER", 15 fig. 12, key again.
