- Check the yarn route (Fig. 10).

- Check the movement of the tube holder or spindle tailstocks.
Defective or deformed cones
Speed, braking or threading settings adjusted during package formation.
- Avoid making adjustments between the start and finish of each package.
Packages too tight.
- Excessive braking causes the cone to judder. Reduce the tension or reduce the
speed.
Packages too loose.
- Discharged counterweight.
- Insufficient braking.
- Arm too tight.
- Increase braking or speed.
Cone vibrates.
- Tube faulty or not suitable for the tailstocks.
- Arm insufficiently tightened; regulate lock-rings.
- Package too dense.
Turns were too slack at the beginning.
- The tailstocks are not running freely.
- Arm too tight.
- Insufficient counterweight on the cone.
The yarn comes off its track
- Ensure that the yarn passes under bar 34 fig.13.

- Increase yarn braking 19 fig.13-14 and 20 fig.13.
Yarn falls off laterally
- Adjust gas spring incidence. Fig10.
No heads work
The displays on the control module do not switch on.
- No mains power to line

Magnetothermal circuit breaker tripped.
- Check for short circuiting in machine electrical system or motors.
