To set the offset parameter, select MENU, SPEED then OFFSET
Change the value of the synchronisation difference in the same way as described previ-
ously for the speed.
The speed can be varied from 300 to 1400 metres / minute in increments of 10 m/min:
from 300 to 1000 metres / minute for 8" machines.
The offset may be set as "10%", "20%", "30%", "40%", "50%", "HYPER" or "0%"; a setting of
0% disables offset.
Change recipe set-up
To edit the parameters of recipe "x", select MENU then MOD. RECIPE X. "X" is the number
of the recipe you wish to edit.
Press "ENTER" 15 fig. 12 to confirm the selection and press the cursor "up" and "down"
keys 14 fig. 12 to increase or decrease the value.
Press "ENTER" 15 fig. 12 again to confirm.
Press cursor "right" to access the recipe parameter configuration menu.
To edit the name of the recipe, access the "MODIFY NAME" menu.
Press "ENTER" to enable edit mode.
Press the cursor "up" and "down" keys to change the character, press the cursor "right"
and "left" keys to move on to the next character.
Continue editing the "RECIPE NAME" parameter to compile the desired alphanumeric
description.
Press "ENTER" to save.
Recipe set-up for a single head or for the machine
To assign a recipe to one or more heads select MENU, SET X and then RECIPE NUM.*Y:
where "x" is the number of the head to which a given recipe is assigned, while "y" is the
number of the recipe that is being set up. If "x" is assigned the value "all" it means that
all the heads will be assigned that particular recipe.

Language and unit of measurement set-up
To display or change the language and the unit of measurement, select SETTINGS and
then LANGUAGE or UNIT.
The language may be set as "English", "Italian", "French" or "Russian", while "metric" or
"imperial" units of measurement may be selected.

To route the yarn from cone to cone, thread the yarn through yarn guide 17 fig.13, through
yarn guide 18 fig.13, through yarn brake 19 fig.13, between the bars 20 and 21 fig.13, the
slub catcher 22 fig.13, through the yarn guide 23 fig.13 and under the bar 34 fig.13. To
increase tension, move the bar 20 fig.13 further away from deflection 21 fig.13, using the
relative holes. To set the position of the bar, pull the knob (24 fig.13) out from the hole
in which it is currently set and move it into one of the other holes.
