NORMAL MACHINE USE

Foreseen use
Our appliances are designed and optimised in order to
obtain high performance and efficiency.
This equipment is expressly designed for the extraction
and filtering of cooking steam and fumes in Electrolux
Lengthwise 6-10 Racks 1/1 oven models.

Characteristics of personnel trained for
normal machine use.
The Customer must make sure that personnel for
normal machine use are adequately trained and skilled
in their duties, as well as ensuring their own safety and
that of other people.
The Customer must make sure his personnel have
understood the instructions received and in particular
those regarding work hygiene and safety in use of the
machine.

Characteristics of personnel enabled to
operate on the machine
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that persons
assigned to the various duties:
• Read and understand the manual;
• Receive adequate training and instruction for their
duties in order to perform them safely;
• Receive specific training for correct machine use;
DESCRIPTION OF HAZARDOUS SITUATION
Interference by third parties, use of inadequate lifting or carrying equipment,
wrong manoeuvres.
The operator may slip due to the presence of water, dirt or residuals of silica
gel on the floor.
The operator deliberately or unintentionally touches some components inside
the machine without using gloves or allowing it to cool first.
The operator intentionally or unintentionally fingers in a fan that is on.
Contact with live parts during maintenance operations carried out with the
electrical panel powered. The operator intervenes (with a power tool or
without disconnecting the power to the machine) lying down on the wet floor.
The operator works on the machine using unsuitable systems to access the
upper part (e.g. rung ladders, or climbs on it).
During maintenance on the machine or the packing containing the machine
with the use of unsuitable accessories or lifting systems or with load
unbalanced.

I2.1.1
The operator for normal machine use must at least have:
• Knowledge of the technology and specific experience
• Adequate general basic education and technical
• Including correct interpretation of the drawings, signs
• Sufficient technical knowledge for safely performing
• Knowledge of the regulations on work hygiene and
In case of a significant fault (e.g. short circuits, wires
coming out of the terminal block, motor breakdown,
