Fitting instructions
1) Remove the exhaust from the rubber suspensors. Remove the ground cover from the trunk.
2) Place the mounting bases (3) and (4) against the bottom of the chassis with points (A), (B) and (C) in
the provided bore holes in the bottom of the chassis. These bore holes have a dent in the base plate in
the trunk. Drill through these dents with Ø10.5mm and increase the bore holes up to Ø25mm. Remove
the bitumen layer from where the mounting plates have to be fitted. Place the packing tubes (5), (6), (7)
in the chassis via the trunk and place the left (1) and right (2) trunk plates on the tubes. Fit the bolts via
the trunk. Place the mounting pieces in position from the bottom and bolt them slightly down.
3) Place the tow bar with points (D) and (E) between the mounting plates (3) and (4) until the bore holes
fit. Place the bolts and bolt everything solidly down (see tightening).
4) Fit the tow ball T45 or the housing of the detachable system together with the socket holder and the
security eye on the tow bar, and bolt everything solidly down (see tightening).

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
