METTLER TOLEDO
Operating the Pallet Truck Scale
Straight Weighing
Preparation:
•
Turn on the terminal and check its status:
- When there is no load on the forks, the terminal
displays "0 kg"
- When there is load on the forks, the terminal displays
the weight
•
Lower the forks to lowered position
To Weigh: Set the control lever in ASCENT position. Push the
lowered forks into the pallet. For safety reasons, the load should
be placed centrally across the forks and not at the end of the
forks. Lift the forks until the pallet and load are entirely off the
ground (at least three full pumping strokes). Insure that there
are no peripheral items or obstacles touching or contacting the
pallet, the forks, or the load. The stable reading displayed on
the terminal is the gross weight.
Note: Make sure that the pallet truck scale is on a level (con-
crete) surface when weighing or transporting loads. The maxi-
mum slope of the floor should be less than 2%.
