Adjusting the interpupillary distance (IPD)
In general, the distance of the eye (specifically, the distance from the center of the
pupil) varies due to individual differences, so the two eyepieces of the binoculars
need to be adjusted to just align. This process is called adjusting the pupil distance.
The specific operation is as follows: Take both binoculars in front of your eyes, look
at the distant target through the binoculars, and move the left and right parts of the
binoculars makes the left and right eyes see a clear circle.
Focus adjustment (this step does not apply to fixed focus
series products)
Most people have slightly different left and right eye vision, and the focus
adjustment system needs to be adjusted first. The specific steps are as follows:
(1) Close the right eye, the left eye observes a target through the left side of the
binoculars, and rotates the center focus wheel to make the image clear;
(2) Close the left eye, the right eye observes a target through the right side of the
binoculars, and rotates the center focus wheel to make the image clear;
(3) Open your eyes and observe through the binoculars. As long as the right eye
adjustment ring is properly adjusted, it is only necessary to rotate the center
focus wheel to observe the targets at different distances next time.
Note: If the binoculars have a sight adjustment ring, please adjust it as soon as
possible for subsequent use.
Eye mask
● About foldable eye mask: If you are not wearing glasses, please keep the eye
mask upright. If you wear glasses, please turn the eye mask down for a bigger
view. After ending the observation, keep the eye mask upright.
● About the retractable eye mask: If you wear glasses, you can unscrew the eye
mask, and if not, raise the eye mask.
Save and clean
● Binoculars do not require routine maintenance, just ensure that the objective lens
and eyepiece lens are clean. If your binoculars are placed or discarded casually,
the optical axis is likely to be a problem and then the binoculars may needs to be

repaired .If repairs are required, it must be carried out by a factory or a qualified
binoculars repair company.
● The optical product must be kept clean! Because dirty objects or eyepieces can
cause problems, such as reduced light transmission, reduced imaging brightness,
the image is not sharp enough and so on. When you are not using the binoculars,
store it in the supplied package. Avoid to contact with the glass surface, but if you
accidentally leave fingerprints (including weak acids and grease, etc.), clean the
lens as quickly as possible to avoid damage to the coating.

About waterproof function
