Starting Operation and Maintenance of the Compressor

Starting Operation:
- Check nameplate to ensure that indicated voltage agrees with supply voltage.
Insert plug in respective socket.

The plug coming with the equipment is a VDE 16A.
Attention:
Never use plug with short distance from 6A. Operation of the compressor is automatically
controlled by the pressure control, which switches the compressor off once pressure in the tank
has reached its maximum, while it starts again when it has fallen to its minimum.
Attention:
Proper automatic operation of the compressor is indicated by a compressed air blast when the
motor stops.
Use and Maintenance:
Before you start working, let the compressor run for 10 minutes with the air tap completely
open so that its moving parts can get used to operating.
Regular Maintenance:
After the first 5 operating hours, check that cap and
casing screws fit tightly (fig. 2).
Every week, drain off the condensation water by opening tap M (fig. 3) below the tank.
Trouble Shooting:
In case of air loss proceed as follows:
a) Charge compressor to maximum pressure.
b) Pull plug from socket.
c) With a paint brush dipped into soap water, daub all screws. Any air loss is discovered when
bubbles form.
