DRAINAGE METHOD
INSTALLATION OF
DRAINAGE HOSE
Drainage Pipe
When the unit is running in cool or dry mode the condenstaion will drain to
the water tank. When the water tank is full a beeper will sound 8 times for
warning. When the water tank is full a green indicator light will flash on
the panel displaying "H8" in the display window and the unit will stop run-
ning. Plug in the drainage hose and take off the hose from the fixing
clamp, then drain out the water in the tank. After that plug in the plug pipe
onto the pipe to prevent leakage of condensed content and fix the
drainage pipe fixing clamp as shown in the following figure. The unit will
resume running once the tank is empty and the compressor stops for 3
minutes.
Note: Drainage hose must be installed before using otherwise blockage
of the drain may occur that will effect the normal operation of the unit.

• Installing Drain Hose:
1. Remove drain cap from drain port.

2. Attach one end of the drain hose to the drain port with the clamp. See
Drain Hose graphic.
3. Insert the drain plug into the other end of the drain hose and secure
with clamp. See Drain Hose graphic.
4. Attach the drain hose clip to the back panel of the air conditioner near
the drain port with the screw provided.
