7.2 Replacing the torch neck

WARNING
Risk of injury
Injury caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning the wire guide with compressed air, wear suitable
protective clothing, in particular safety goggles.
4 Clean wire feed hose from both sides with compressed air.
5 Mount cleaned or replaced wear parts and liner or PA liner.
6 Connect cable assembly on the machine side to the wire feed unit.
CAUTION
Risk of injury
Burns caused by coolant spatter.
• Switch off the cooling circuit.
NOTE
• Make sure that no residual fluid enters the wire feed hose!
• Point the handle downward during the entire change procedure with the
torch neck mount.
1 Unscrew the nut of the torch neck.
2 Pull torch neck of the torch neck mount by slightly rotating it.
3 Insert new or serviced torch neck.
NOTE
• Grease the O-rings with silicone-free lubricant (192.0078). This makes it
easier to insert the torch neck and increases the life of the O-rings.
4 Tighten the nut by hand.
