4.2 Mounting the wire guide
4.2.1 Liner

3 Screw the contact tip into the tip adaptor and tighten contact tip using a
multiple wrench.
4 Slide the gas nozzle on the torch neck rotating it slightly clockwise.
To be used for steel wires.
1 Unscrew torch neck from handle.
2 Disconnect cable assembly on machine side and lay it down straight.
3 Unscrew nut from central connector.
4 Sharpen the spiral liner beginning to an angle of approx. 40°. Debur the
cutting point.
5 Slide sharpened liner through the wire conduit into the insulating bush of the
handle up to the solid stop.
6 Cut off liner at the central connector such that it protrudes 10 mm. Debur
the cutting point.
7 Screw retaining nipple clockwise onto liner.
8 Screw down nut and tighten it with multiple wrench.
9 Screw torch neck into the torch neck mount of the handle.
To be used for aluminium, copper, nickel and stainless steels.
1 Unscrew torch neck from handle.
2 Disconnect cable assembly on machine side and lay it down straight.
3 Unscrew nut from central connector.
4 Sharpen the beginning of the PA liner to approx. 40° with the
ABICOR BINZEL sharpener.
5 Slide sharpened liner through the wire conduit into the insulating bush of the
handle up to the solid stop.
6 Slide holder nipple, O-ring and nut onto the PA liner, keep the PA liner under
tension and tighten the nut.
7 Introduce central connector together with the long PA liner through the
central socket into the wire feed unit. Mark PA liner right in front of the rollers
and disconnect central connector once again.
8 Cut the PA liner at the mark with the ABICOR BINZEL cutter. Sharpen the
beginning of the PA liner to approx. 40° with the ABICOR BINZEL
sharpener.
