5.3. START-UP

To start the stove, hold down button P4 for a few seconds; the words "Fan Cand" will appear, the
extraction device will go on at minimum and the heating element will begin preheating. After this stage,
which lasts around 2 minutes, the words "Load Wood" will appear and the auger will begin loading
pellets while the heating elements continues to preheat. When the temperature read by the fumes
probe is high enough, the electronic control unit considers ignition to have taken place (approx. 7-10
minutes) and goes on to the next stage of flame stabilization; the words "Fire On" will appear on the
display. At the end of the "Fire On" stage the control unit goes into working mode and shows the power
and ambient temperature. At this stage output can be regulated from 1 to 5 by means of buttons P5 and
P6.

5.5. FAILED IGNITION

If the pellets do not ignite, failed ignition will be indicated by an alarm "AlAr no Fire"-"no Acc". The stove
ignites in about 7/10 minutes if top grade pellets are used in an ambient temperature of about 10°C. If
the ambient temperature is lower the spark plug cannot ignite the stove and needs assistance by placing
some pellets in the burn pot with a piece of burning firelighter on top (e.g. firelighters cubes).
ATTENTION: after failed ignition the accumulated pellets in the burn pot MUST BE CLEARED OUT
before re-igniting the stove. Too many pellets in the burn pot, damp pellets, or a dirty burn pot, make
ignition difficult and cause dense white smoke to form, which can be harmful to health and cause
explosions in the combustion chamber. It is therefore necessary not to stand in front of the stove when
dense white smoke appears at the ignition stage. ATTENTION: if after some months the flame is weak
and/or orange coloured, the glass tends to easily become black, and the burn pot tends to get
thick deposit on it, clean the stove (see

5.6. POWER FAILURE

When the stove goes on again after an electricity black-out it shows "AlAr no rEtE" and the extractor will
expel residual smoke for 15 minutes and start the turning off process. Reset the error pushing ON/OFF
button. When it has cooled, empty the burn pot and re-start the stove.

5.7. TEMPERATURE SETTING

To alter the ambient temperature setting, press button P3 and at the same time adjust with buttons P1
and P2. The temperature selected and ambient temperature will be shown on display B. If the value of
ambient temperature exceeds the limit established by the temperature setting keypad, the power goes to
minimum until the threshold is within the preset value, when "r IS" will appear on the display.
MIRIAM-NICE-DIANA-PRETTY-MARY
After ignition the flame can be regulated
through a Ø40mm PVC cap fitted to the
combustion air inlet pipe.
If the flame is weak and/or orange coloured, it
means that combustion is not perfect and the
baffle must be opened. The first time, regulate
with the assistance of the specialized fitter. Every
time different grade pellets are used it will be
necessary to regulate.
