5.8. FUMES TEMPERATURE
To check fumes temperature at the exhaust outlet, press button P1.
5.9. TURNING OFF
To turn off the stove, hold down button P4; the word "OFF" will appear on display A. At this stage the
flow of pellets is stopped and after 15/20 minutes the fumes extractor also goes out (this happens
whether the stove is hot or cold).
ATTENTION: with low grade pellets (floury, or containing adhesive, oil, paint or plastic residue)
during operation, some residues will form along the pellet pipe. Once the stove is off this residue
could form tiny hot coals that could travel along the pipe and reach the pellets in the hopper, burning
them and releasing dense harmful smoke into the room. Keep the lid on the hopper at all times. If the
pipe is dirty, clean it according to the instructions in
paragraph 7.5, page
80.
5.10. ATTENTION
When in operation the stove gets very hot: keep children and animals away.
5.11. EXTINGUISHING FIRES
If you need to put out a fire coming from the stove or flue, use an extinguisher or call the Fire Brigade.
NEVER use water to put out the fire in the burn pot.
5.12. PELLET SUPPLY
If you have to load pellets with the stove in operation, take care that the pellet bag does not come into
contact with hot surfaces. ATTENTION: the pellet hopper must have its lid on at all times. Do not
pour combustion by products (unburnt coals) derived from ignition waste into the hopper.
5.13. SETTING THE CLOCK
To set the clock press button P3 many times until the green led illuminates on the clock and "UT02"
appears on the display. Set the time by means of the P1 and P2 buttons.
