7.4. GLASS CLEANING
The ceramic glass of the fire door resists heat to 700°C but not sudden changes in temperature. In order
to avoid glass explosion clean with commercial products for glass when it is completely cold. If the glass
breaks it must be replaced before using the stove again. Proceed as follows to replace the glass (see
Picture 1, page
62).
a) Loosen the 3 screws of each glass holder (A).
b) Remove the damaged glass and replace only with an original spare (15). Make sure the gasket is in
good condition; replace if necessary.
c) Tighten the screws on the two glass holders.
7.5. DAILY CLEANING OF BURN POT-ASH PAN
The burn pot must be cleaned every day.
Place ash in a metal container with sealed lid.

Open the door with the stove off.
Remove the burn pot (M) from its seat, empty the ash
and if necessary clean out any encrusted holes using a
pointed object.

Clean the pellet collection hole with a small brush.
Frequency of cleaning depends on the type of pellets.
Take note if the flame becomes red, is weak, or releases
black smoke because this means the burn pot is encrusted
and needs cleaning. Replace when worn (see
9.3, page
87).
