Pag. 70
1. Installation of flue
Ø120mm with hole for
pipe passage through
the roof enlarged of:
100mm minimum
around the pipe if in
contact with non-
inflammable parts
(concrete, bricks, etc.);
or 300mm minimum
around the pipe if in
contact with
inflammable parts
(wood, etc.).
For both cases, insert
between flue and slab a
proper insulation.
We recommend to
verify, with flue
manufacturer,
dimensions to respect
for safety and the
proper typology of
insulation to use.
These rules are to be
applied to holes also
made in the wall.
2. Old flue, fitted into a
minimum Ø120mm
pipe with an external
flap to facilitate
cleaning.
3. External flue made
exclusively of insulated
stainless steel pipes, i.e.
with minimum
Ø120mm double wall,
well anchored to the
wall. With windproof
chimney (see
type A, page
4. Channelling system
using T connections
that facilitate cleaning
without removing the
pipes.
