Installation and Check before Treatment

(1) To insert dry cell batteries
Insert dry cell batteries into the battery box on the bottom surface of the control
unit. (Refer to "10. Changing Batteries")
(2) To connect the probe
Securely insert the plug of the probe into
the probe connector on the control unit.
(Fig. 1)
(3) Check before treatment with the Tester
1) Press the Power Key to turn ON the
power. (The alarm sounds and the LCD
panel lights up.)
2) Insert the probe sockets into the Tester
(Fig.2). Check that the number display
on the LCD panel is within the range of
"0.4 and 0.6".

If the numerical value is not displayed correctly, there may be a
fault in the probe. Contact your Authorized NSK Dealer. (Refer to 7.
CAUTION
Operation check using the Tester)
(4) To connect the file clip
Connect the plug of the file clip to either
plug of the probe. (Fig. 3)
