Diagnostics and technical interventions on the machine must be performed by skilled technicians (in mechanics, hydraulics,
electricity).
Call Merand's after sales service if required for any malfunction.
Fault
When the joystick is
pressed, no machine

Malfunctions and troubleshooting
The electric and hydraulic plans are supplied inside the machine.
The spare parts are available from the Merand after sales service.

Possible origin
The machine is not connected.
The electric network is not
powered up.
The emergency stop is engaged.
Easydoor® option
One of the 2 doors is not closed
properly.
The motor thermal protection has
tripped.
The supply cable is damaged.
The unit's motor is out of service.
Grid holder option
In the classical division mode,
the knives do not exit. The
selector is in the grid holder
mode.
The unit's motor is running in
reverse.
A cable or connexion is
damaged.
One or several electrovalves are
inoperative.
The joystick is inoperative.
Oil level low in the unit.
Loose fitting.
The jack is leaking through its
gaskets.
A hose is damaged.
You are using the grid holder
without the AlveoForm plate.
The felt is not under the
AlveoForm plate
Pressure on the dough is too
low, reducing its spreading.
The dough is not spread enough
before closing the cover.
The cycle is interrupted before
the end of the cutting.
The force of the blades is too
low.
Intervention
Connect the divider to the power network
Check that your supply connector is actually live (check
the fuses or connect another device).
Reset the emergency stop button (turn and pull).
Close and lock the doors.
Rearm the thermal circuit breaker then call upon a skilled
technician to determine the origin of the problem.
Change the supply cable.
Check the motor supply then change the motor if faulty.
Turn the selector to the classical division mode position.
Check it is turning as shown by the arrow indicated on
the motor cover.
Otherwise, reverse 2 level phases on the supply
connector.
Refer to the electric diagram and check all cables and
connections.
Change the faulty element.
Check the supply of the electrovalves with the wiring
drawing.
Change the electrovalve concerned
Check the supply of the joystick with the wiring diagram.
Change the faulty joystick.
Check and top up the oil.
Repair the oil leak.
Tighten the fitting concerned and check all others.
Replace the jack joints.
Do not use the machine and change the hose at once.
Place the plate in the divider tank as per the indications
of the manual.
Putt the felt on the plates or place under the Alveoform
plate.
Increase pressure using the VarioPress® adjustment.
Adapt the size of your trays to the dimension of the tank
and / or spread manually with more precaution.
Press the joystick up for longer before opening the cover.
Increase the pressure value on the blade jack under
control from the Merand after sales department.
