ADJuSTMENT

Installation adjustment principle
Once the device, the operating mechanism and the drive rod assembly have been installed on the framework, the installation
adjustment principle is as follows :
Adjustment must be
performed once the
terminals have been
connected to the HV
connections.
In all cases, adjustment
must be performed when
the closure end stops
come into contact
Correct closing =

closed position at limit
point
Correct opening =

The operating angle
and the minimum
entry/exit distance
(marked on page
7 of disconnector
instruction book) is
complied with.

Close the device (Set the poles to the limit
point closed position).

Close the operating mechanism at the
mechanical limit point using the emergency
crank-handle (until crank-handle rotation is
blocked)

Position the drive crank as per the
installation drawing

Using the emergency crank-handle,
complete 21 rotations in the opening
direction (referred to as the initial
adjustment position).

Maintain the initial adjustment position and
fit the link* between the device and the
operating mechanism.

Tighten the link fixing screws between the Tighten the link fixing screws between the
device and the operating mechanism.

Close the operating mechanism at the
limit point.

Slightly open the device using the operating
mechanism, and then close it.

Check tightening of all screws, tighten the
tube stop screws (self-tapping screws).
The device is now adjusted.
