Function of terminals
BUS line connection
Remote sensor input
The unit must be connected to the home automation BUS via an unshielded and unpolar-
ised twisted pair.
Topology of free connection.
The use of the BPT NH-C1D BUS cable (750 V insulation) is advised; alternatively, use the
telephone twisted pair as described in standard CEI 46-5, with the following characteristics:
- conductors section 0.28 mm
- typical impedance from 90 to 120 Ω;
- capacity at 800 Hz from 60 to 130 nF/km;
- electrical resistance at 20 °C max 67 Ω/Km.
It is important to bear in mind that if the uninsulated telephone twisted pair is used as
described in standard CE1 46-5, for the voltages in play, this must be laid in dedicated con-
ductors, i.e. not those used for the 230 V AC voltage cabling.
Configuration of unit in BPT home automation systems programmable from PC
To install the unit in BPT home automation systems, follow the instructions given in the
software manuals of the respective systems.
