Cartridge cannot be pressurized
The system will eject the cartridge immediately after failing to reach the default pressure level. A possible cause
is:

A missing O-ring on the cartridge (Figure 5.2). Use a new cartridge.

The cartridge was not locked correctly or not locked at all. Reload the cartridge.

Valve is not moving
Cells will no longer be visible going down the sort channel of the chip. A possible cause is:
A piece of debris blocks the valve (Figure 5.3). Go to Tools > Free Valve and check the valve movement (refer

to the MACSQuantify Tyto Software user manual). If the valve still does not move, use a new cartridge.
The sort process has not started. Click Sort.

The camera software is frozen. Restart the computer.
l
On the camera it is not always visible that the valve is blocked by debris.
