Replaceing fuses

To prevent electrical damage on the internal components of the MACSQuant Tyto Cell Sorter, two fuses protect
the current input and output line of the instrument. The fuse box is located on the rear side of the instrument
between the power switch and the power socket ( Figure 1.2 ) and is accessible for users.
1 Switch off the MACSQuant Tyto Cell Sorter.
2 Unplug the main power cable from the instrument.
3 Use a standard screwdriver to open the fuse box.
4 The label in the near vicinity of the fuse box indicates which type of fuses are used in the MACSQuant Tyto
Cell Sorter.
5 Replace the fuses with identical fuses and insert the fuse box back into the instrument.
6 Insert the main power cable into the MACSQuant Tyto Cell Sorter and switch on the instrument.
