guide handle (18). Push the unlocking lever at
the handle (B11 / pos. A) downwards and insert
the guide handle. After releasing the unlocking
lever, the guide handle will lock into place.
Adjust the telescopic handle to your body size
by loosening the sleeve (14) and extending or
shortening the handle. Tighten the sleeve again
afterwards. Push the assembled grass trimmer
into the carriage of the telescopic handle (18)
from the front until reaching a stop. (B13-B14)
You can now comfortably work with the
grass trimmer while standing.
Assembly as bush and shrub trimmer
Assemble the bush and shrub blade (6)
by removing the bottom cover (9) at the shear
body.
To this end, push the locking knob (10) and slide
the bottom cover (9) off to the rear. (B1)
Put on the bush and shrub blade (6) in such a
way that the guide pins (11) of the gear latch into
the guide holes (12) of the blade. (B5)
WARNING! Always wear protective gloves
when working on the blades.
After the bush and shrub blade (6) has been
placed in such a way that it exactly rests between
the pilot pins (B6), insert the bottom cover (9)
into the guiding at the housing body and slide it
forward until the locking knob (10) latches into
the bottom plate. (B7)
CAUTION: The telescopic guide handle
may not be mounted when using the
device as shrub trimmer.
CAUTION: The device is a light bush and
shrub trimmer and cannot replace your
hedge shears.
It is not suitable for cutting back shrubs but may
only be used for maintenance pruning and edge
trimming.
8. Loading the battery
The battery must be loaded before starting to
work.
Make sure that the mains voltage indicated on
the type plate corresponds to the available mains
voltage. Plug the charger (13) into the mains
socket and Connect the Battery charger to the
charging socket on the device.
The battery can be fully charged in about 3-5
hours. You read all saftey instructions carefully
before using the charger.
9. Working with the grass trimmer
Working with the grass trimmer without
telescopic guide handle
In order to switch the device on, push the switch
lock (4) to the right or left of the handle inwards
and press the On/Off switch (3). (B9)
In order to switch off, release the On/Off switch
(3).
When trimming grass, make sure that the blade
does not come into contact with stones, wood
or other objects. The best cutting results can be
achieved on dry lawn.
If the cutting performance noticeably decreases,
recharge the battery.
Always clean the blade (5) and slightly oil it after
the work.
Working with the grass trimmer with
telescopic guide handle
Guide the grass trimmer evenly over the lawn on
its wheels. Always guide it away from the footway
