8. Cleaning, maintenance and spare
part order
Danger!
Pull the network connector before all cleaning
work.
8.1 Cleaning
• Keep protection devices, air slits and motor
housing as dust-free and dirt-free as possible.
Wipe the device with a clean cloth or blow it out
with compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the device
immediately after every use.
• Clean the device regularly with a damp cloth
and some soft soap. Do not use detergents or
solvents; these could corrode the plastic parts
of the device. Ensure that no water can seep
into the device . The ingress of water into the
electrical device increases the risk of electrical
shock.

8.2 Carbon brushes

In case of excessive sparking, please get the
carbon brushes checked by a qualified electrician.
Danger! The carbon brushes may be replaced
only by an qualified electrician.
8.3 Maintenance
• Worn or damaged blades, blade carriers
and bolts are to be replaced set-by-set by an
authorized specialist, in order to maintain the
balance.
• The lawnmower should not be cleaned with
running water, especially under high pressure.
Make sure that all fasteners (screws, nuts, etc.) are
always tightened so that you can work safely with
the mower.
• Check the grass catching device frequently for
signs of wear.
• Replace worn or damaged parts .
• Store your lawn mower
in a dry room.
• For high durability, all the screwed parts as well
as the wheels and axles should be cleaned and
then oiled.
• The regular maintenance of the lawn mower not
only ensures a high durability and performance
capability but also contributes to a thorough and
easy mowing of your lawn. Clean the lawnmower
as much as possible with a brush or a rag.
Do not use solvents or water to remove dirt.
• The component, which is most exposed to wear
is the blade. Check the condition of the blade as
well as its fastening regularly. If the blade is worn,
it must be replaced or polished immediately. If
there is excessive vibration in the mower, this
means that the blade is not properly balanced or
that it has become deformed by collisions. In this
case, it must be repaired or replaced.
• There are no further parts to be maintained
within the device.

8.4 Replacing the blade

For safety reasons, we recommend that you get
the blade replaced by an authorized specialist.
Caution:
Please wear working gloves! Use only
original blades, otherwise the functions and
security cannot be guaranteed under certain
circumstances.
To change the blade, please proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the fastening screw (see Image 12).
2. Remove the blade and replace it with a new
one.
3. While installing the new blade, please pay
