Configuring the TCP/IP Network
Configuring the modem (GSM or
PSTN option)
This chapter provides details regarding the menu option Configura-
tion.
NOTE
The OTU-8000 configuration can be viewed by everyone.
Only a user with the INSTALL profile may modify the configuration.
Once logged in, the Configuration page opens to the Ethernet tab.

TCP/IP and ONMS Configuration
1 Enter or modify all necessary information:
OTU-8000 TCP/IP configuration
– IP Address
– IP Sub-Mask
– IP Gateway
– Domain Name
– DNS Server address
Configuration SSH and Corba
You can modify here the SSH and Corba configuration, however it
is strongly recommended to not modify it. If you wish to cancel the
modification, click on D
tion by default.
ONMS Server Address Configuration
You can indicate here the IP address of the ONMS server.
2 Click on A
to validate the changes of TCP/IP Configuration.
PPLY
The OTU-8000 may be able to send alarms to the ONMS server via a
GSM or PSTN modem (on option, according to your ordered configura-
tion).
This option is not available with the ONMSi.
