Specific conditions are required to install the OTU-8000 in a rack. There
are different conditions according to the type of rack used and wether
the OTU-8000 is delivered with a plexi protection cover or not.
– 19'' or 23'' rack (width 300 mm)
The door can be closed, whether the plexi protection cover is set on the
OTU-8000 or not.
– 21'' (ETSI) rack (width 260 mm)
The door cannot be closed if the plexi protection cover is set onto the
OTU-8000.
Milled screws are positioned on the plexi protection cover when:
– A ETSI 21'' rack is used
– A 19'' or 23'' rack is used and no door is set on the rack.
