Setting the detection
distance of the IR sensor
If flushes are actuated too soon, too late or
unintentionally, you can optimise the
detection distance of the IR sensor.

Disconnect the IR sensor.
✓ The LED lights up.

Wait until the LED goes out.

Connect the IR sensor.
✓ The LED flashes 3 times and
then lights up for 15 seconds.
✓ Within these 15 seconds, the IR
sensor can be covered and the
setting can be initiated.

Cover the IR sensor completely for
around 20 seconds.

Remove hand from the detection
range of the IR sensor until the LED
goes out, then flashes, and finally
lights up for 10 seconds.
✓ 1 flash: large detection range
set.
✓ 2 flashes: small detection range
set.

Actuate the flush to check the
detection range.
✓ LED flashes: small detection
range set.
✓ LED does not flash: large
detection range set.

If the incorrect detection range has
been set, restart the setting process
from Step 1.
