TROUBLE SHOOTING - - continued
PROBLEM
Poor squeegee pick up -- continued.
Drive motor does not run.
Drive motor runs, but not correctly.
Little or no solution flow.
Safety lights do not work.
FaST Model: FaST System does not oper-
ate or operate correctly.
Speed Scrub 2701/3301 (08- -05)
CAUSE
Drain hose plug is loose.
Clear recovery tank lid is loose.
Vacuum motor is loose.
Battery charge is low.
Main circuit breaker has tripped or
is pulled.
Faulty Main switch.
Faulty speed control circuit board
or connection.
Faulty solenoid.
Faulty wiring.
Faulty drive motor.
Worn carbon brushes.
Faulty potentiometer or speed
control board.
Faulty resistor.
Solution flow lever in not activated.
Solution line or filter is clogged.
Solution valve is clogged.
Solution flow adjustment knob
needs adjusting.
Flasher is burned out.
Solution flow lever not pulled
back.
Scrub Mode switch is not selected
on FaST Scrub.
FaST circuit breaker has tripped.
Clogged FaST--PAK supply hose
and/or connectors.
FaST--PAK carton is empty or not
connected.
Clogged orifice/filter screen.
Faulty scrub mode switch.
Faulty pump or air compressor.
Clogged solution tank filter.

OPERATION
SOLUTION
Tighten drain plug.
Tighten lid.
Contact Service Center.
Charge batteries. Do not run
machine when battery meter is in
the red zone.
Determine cause and reset
breaker.

Push solution flow lever forward.
Remove hose and blow com-
pressed air through it. Flush solu-
tion tank after each use.
Remove valve and clean. Do not
scratch or damage inside of valve.
Turn solution flow knob clockwise
to increase flow.
Contact Service Center.
Pull back solution flow lever.
Select FaST Scrub Mode.
Determine cause and reset the
10A circuit breaker button.
Soak connector and hose in warm
water and clean.
Replace FaST--PAK carton and/or
connect supply hose.
Replace orifice/filter screen
(see Annual Maintenance).

Drain solution tank.
Remove solution tank filter, clean
and reinstall.
