8. Before first use

The temperature controller consists of two parts that are held together with
clips. The front part contains the switching circuit with the temperature sensor,
display and control panel, as well as the
battery compartment for the batteries
(2x 1.5 V AA, not included).
Ensure that the batteries are inserted in
the correct polarity (observe the plus/+
and minus/- signs).
