Before wiring the electrics, check that the individual wires are
connected and configured correctly. If necessary, consult an
electrician.
The device does not require a protective earth connection. If
necessary, loop through this connection.
• Loosen the screws on the contact strip and insert the wires until the insulation
is over the edge of the contact surface in the terminal. Tighten the screws
in this position. If the wires cannot be inserted far enough into the terminal,
check the length and thickness of the wire ferrule. After completing the
assembly, check the position of the screws and retighten them if necessary.
• Screw the cover back onto the contact strip.
• Place the switching circuit into the wall-mounted relay unit. Ensure that the
markings and the display are visible and that the switching circuit is not
inserted the wrong way round. The signals are transmitted from the switching
circuit to the relay unit via two contacts.

10. Operation

Configuring the time and functions
Press and hold the SET button (28) for 3 seconds to access the time and
function menu. Press the SELECT button (30) to switch between the time ("tI")
and function settings ("St") menu.
