Troubleshooting
Alarm sound and red LED is on
The red LED flashes.
Sparks when connecting clamps
to the vehicle battery.
The device cannot start the
vehicle, the red LED flashes.
The product cannot start the
vehicle, and the red LED is off.
Orange and green LEDs are
flashing after 24h or charge.
Orange and green LEDs flash
alternatively during the charge
The orange LED flashes for
more than 3 hours and does
not turn to green.
STARTPACK PRO is plugged in
to the mains but no light is on.
Causes
The product detects an
inversion of polarity.
The battery voltage went
lower than 12.5V after a
start or a heavy
consumption.
The battery switch is turned
ON and/or the voltage
selector is on 12V or 24V.
The voltage selector is on
the wrong position.
Polarity inversion.
Internal batteries are
discharged.
Many starting attempts
without recovery time.
The battery voltage is
incorrect
Internal batteries voltage is
really low. They can be
damaged.
Internal batteries are
damaged. Voltage of
batteries does not increase
despite the charge.
Charger is on thermal
protection
The battery is sulphated or
deeply discharged.
No voltage from the mains.
The voltage connector is not
plugged on the 12V socket.
The fuse has blown
Solutions
Check the polarity on the battery. Red
clamp to the (+) of the battery and
black clamp to the (-).
Charge the device after use. The red
LED will turn off.
Before connecting the clamps on the
vehicle battery, turn the battery-
switch
OFF,
and
disconnect
voltage selector.
Check
that
the
selected
corresponds to the voltage of the
vehicle's battery
Check polarity on the battery
Recharge the machine to the max,
and try again
Wait 3 minutes between two starting
attempts.
A start should not last for more than
5 seconds.
Check that the selected voltage
corresponds to the voltage of the
vehicle's battery
Put the product on recharge to
attempt recovery of internal batteries.
Unplug the machine from the mains,
and then restart the charge. If the
problem persists the batteries are
damaged.
Charger is overheating because the
room temperature is too high. The
charger will restart the charge
automatically as soon as the
temperature dropped down
sufficiently.
Normal process of the product: the
charger
detects
the
presence of
sulphated
/
deeply
batteries. It will attempt to recover
the battery with a specific charge of
16h.
Check the presence of 230V voltage
on the supply.
Plug the voltazge connector on the
12V socket.
Replace the fuse.
