VI. Fitting instructions for doors that open inwards
Please verify that the PR2800 fits onto the door panel for two-speed locked door bars
before carrying out the fitting steps described below.
Lock the door bar directly into the brickwork in the narrow niche area (use PWA2700 if
necessary -> see under special accessories, page 14).
Fitting the lock body
1. Remove the safety screws. ATTENTION: The sliding casing may fall down
2. Set and mark the position of the lock body on the door panel (Fig. 3 + 4).
Mark a hole Ø 53–58 mm in the middle accordingly (Fig. 10) and drill with a milling
cutter/hole saw from both sides.

3. Mount the lock body, attach the escutcheon and door exterior (Fig. 11).
4. Align the lock body horizontally, move the sliding casing according to the door panel
width (30-40 mm from the door panel edge) (Fig. 12a).
5. Pre-drill the position of the mounting screws (wood Ø 3.0 mm/metal Ø 3.5 mm)
and tighten the lock body with screws Ø 4.2 x 22 mm.
NOTE: If the lock body mounting does not provide sufficient support, additional screws
with 4.2 x 22 mm or 4 x 35 mm or the external escutcheon PR2800 with an all-through
screw fitting can be used (Fig. 31).
