Underlay for the lock body
The lock body underlay allows for a more favourable assembly position of the wall cover plates
to be achieved, as these can be mounted in a more stable area of the doorframe / wall as a
result (Fig. 33a – c).
Note: to determine the cylinder length required, the underlay thickness of 18 mm must be
added to the existing thickness of the door leaf.

External escutcheon PR2800
The escutcheon is screwed with 2 screws (M6)
through the door from the inside (Fig. 32).
M6x35 = for door thicknesses to 55 mm, M6x45 =
for door thicknesses to 65 mm.
Longer hexagonal socket screws M6 must be used
for stronger doors.
The ASP17 mounting plate is suitable for the sturdy fixing
of lock casings. It is used, in particular, when the options
for anchoring the reinforced door bar lock casings directly
and securely to the subsurface are inadequate. (Fig. 34,
see separate installation instructions ABUS ASP17).
