We would like to congratulate you on your purchase of a
RescueCut saw chain. We hope that you will be satisÞ ed
with it.
In order to ensure the proper functioning and per for -
mance of your new chain saw, and to safeguard your own
personal safety, it is imperative that you read this instruc-
tion manual thoroughly before operation. Be especially
careful to observe all safety precautions! Also observe the
instructions in the chain saw's Instruction Manual!
Failure to do so can result in serious injury to the
operator and/or bystanders!
The special safety instructions for the RescueCut saw
chain on pages 14-17 differ from the normal safety
precautions for chain saws!

Intended Use

Your RescueCut saw chain is Þ tted with tungsten carbide
cutters. It is designed for non-continuous use in rescue
operations cutting rooÞ ng, sheet metal, aluminium, plastic
siding, safety glass etc.
Continuous use, such as in gardening, wrecking or industrial
use, will overstress the rivets and cause premature wear.
Therefore we do not recommend such use.
Due to the special grind of the front rake this RescueCut
saw chain is not suitable for cutting wood with the excep-
tion of slow cutting of thin pieces.
This RescueCut saw chain is optimised for use with me-
dium-power chain saws.
