5 COMMISSIONING OF EZ LOGIC ACTUATOR

5.1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

According to the reference, the EZ LOGIC control can work with single-phase, 3-phase or 24VDC.
Moreover, EZ LOGIC features a local command, a 7-segment display giving a percentage of opening
and several LED for signaling.
EZ LOGIC control can be proposed in two versions:
ON/OFF: Only the 'valve opened' and 'valve closed' positions are managed. The electronic board
receives a command by 'dry contacts' or by 'voltage' to 'Open' , 'Close' or 'Stop' . These actuators can
be identified on the rating plate by the following code:
EZxxxx FL XX 123 A0 are equipped with ON/OFF board
POSITIONING: The EZ LOGIC control receives an analog input signal (4/20mA as standard, 0/20mA
or 0/10VDC are also possible) and manages the valve positioning. A position feed-back is given to
the remote command. These actuators can be identified on the rating plate by the following code:

Local command Inhibition
The keypad is protected against unexpected local command by a
local command inhibition.
This function is activated automatically after 1 minute without tou-
ching the keypad or by pressing the STOP key for 5 seconds.
When local control is locked, the display will show a key
To unlock, press the STOP key for 5 seconds.
