Display doesn't work or key-
pad is inactive
No position feedback
No remote signaling (Valve
opened, valve closed, alarm)
E01 is displayed

Check the ribbon cable between the keypad and the control
board (check if the cable is not reversed inside the connector)
Check the fuses
Check the power supply
Check

Check the good wiring and supply of the current loop
Check the wiring between remote and signaling relays
(terminal 1 to 7)
This fault message mean the maximum torque is reached
check that the valve torque is not too high
Check that mechanical stops are not stopping the movement
before reaching 'opened' or 'closed' position on the position
sensor
This fault message means there was a thermal overload of the
motor due to intensive operation.
The motor must cool down and the reset will be automatic.
If the fault code remains ON, please contact Bernard Controls
This message means there is a loss of one phase
Check the power connection and the presence of the 3 phases
and the supply voltage
This message means the 4-20mA input signal has been lost
Check that the 4-20mA is active and in the 4 to 20 mA range.
This fault message mean the actuator (or its motor) is jamming
Check that the torque is not too high
Check that mechanical stops are not stopping the movement
before reaching 'opened' or 'closed' position on the position
sensor
Position sensor is out of order
Check the ribbon cable between the position sensor and the
control board
Check if torque sensor is well connected to the control board
(not available on EZ4 to EZ15)
Check if the torque sensor cable is not damaged
Check also is the cable is not reversed in the connector
