These conditions reduce the hand's ability to feel and regulate temperature, produce numbness and may
cause nerve and circulation damage and tissue necrosis.
All factors that contribute to the whitefinger disease are not known.
Some of the factors mentioned in the development of the whitefinger disease are: cold weather, smoking
and diseases or physical conditions that affect blood vessels and blood transportation, as well as, high
vibration levels and long periods of exposure to vibration.
To help in the prevention and reducing the risk of the whitefinger disease, please note the following:
-- wear gloves and keep your hands warm;
-- maintain a firm grip at all times, but do not squeeze the handles with constant pressure,
-- take frequent pauses
The operator should closely monitor the condition of their hands and fingers, and if any of the symptoms
appear, seek medical advice immediately.
Adjust the harness belt to your waist to ensure a comfortable and safe work
IV. GETTING STARTED
Before any intervention on product, ensure that switch is on the OFF position
and that tool's plug is disconnected from the mains power supply.
4.1- Unpacking
- Remove product from its packaging.
- Check that tool and accessories are not damage.
4.2- Assembly of the protective guard

1) Hold the machine shaft, fitting the

protective cover in the machine shaft.
2) Align the protective cover and the
machine shaft together and fix with the
screw.

Position the protective guard on the motor housing.
Align the protective cover to the machine shaft and fix together with the screws ST4x14.
Fix the edging support with wheel on the protective guard with the 2 short screws.
WARNING! The protective guard is fitted with a sharp blade (for trimming the nylon line)
protected with a protector sheath.
Make sure the protector sheath is on the sharp blade before assembling the protective guard.
Remove the protector sheath before use and always replace it after use.
WARNING! Never use the trimmer without the protective guard fully fitted.
